The Expo connects the Military and Veteran community to resources that provide timely solutions to real-time needs.

Intake Form
We start by listening. Attendees complete a short form telling us what they need most — benefits, housing, mental health support, education, and more.

Smart Matching
We use that information to match attendees with the right resources — and share a personalized list of recommendations before the event so they can plan ahead.

Connect with the resources you've been matched with, network, and own your future.

We don't stop when the Expo ends. The data we collect informs an impact report and helps us advocate for new programs and partnerships that fill gaps in care.

/ WHY IT MATTERS

“I came to the expo because a good friend of mine invited me — and then I started hearing about it from others in the community. I was a bit worried it would be like other Veteran meetups, you know, one guy in the corner at the American Legion. But this was different — it was so much more. There were tons of resources and great groups. I thought I knew everything available to me — but I learned about benefits I didn't even know existed.
“I talk to over 200 Marines a month — both active and prior service — and what I've seen is that a lot of Veterans aren't taking full advantage of the resources available to them. That's why I came to the South Florida Military & Veteran Expo: to gather information and get it into the hands of those who need it. Events like this are where real change happens.
“Whether you're currently serving or already out, this event is a must. I'm an active duty Marine Corps Captain starting to think about transition. Just two hours at the expo opened up so many doors for me. I now know that when the time comes, I have the connections, the confidence, and the resources to make that transition smoothly.
